Kırklareli Oral and Dental Health Center provides dental health services in its own building since February 23, 2015, 7 days a week between 08.30-24.00 in our city.
Our health center operates as a public institution of Republic of Turkey The Ministry of Health. Vision of our Center; To be a respected and preferred institution which provides reliable service in accordance with international standards in terms of oral and dental health, and continuously improves itself. Mission of our Center; To provide day by day more quality oral health services in line with the standards determined by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, in accordance with our people's needs and expectations, timely, accurate and satisfactory.
Our center provides health services with a total of 74 staff: 20 dentists including one head physician and two specialist physician (orthodortist and periodonthology), and 54 other staff.
According to 2018 data, by providing a total of 111.000 polyclinic services, 35.000 dental fillings, 13.000 canal treatment, 12.000 dental stone cleaning, 23.000 dental prosthesis, oral implantation of the dental implant in 200 patients and many other treatment applications, Kırklareli Oral and Dental Health Center is working devotedly for the protection, development and treatment of oral and dental health of our citizens.Our center provides dental health services by visiting confined to bed or other disabled patients in their homes within the scope of Home Health Services. In addition, with the protocol signed with the State Hospital, our dentists are performing dental treatment with general anesthesia in the operating room of the State Hospital. In the surveys conducted in 2018, the Patient Satisfaction Rate was 95%. Our center is the first Oral and Dental Health Center of Turkey with a Certificate of Disability Accessibility. It also has a Baby Friendly Oral and Dental Health Center title. Children who come to our center can have fun under the supervision of Kırklareli University Child Development Department trainees in a 40m² children's playground. Our staff are trained in sign language in coordination with our Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor and Social Services, and currently 15 staff are receiving this training.
To see the condition of the teeth and jaw bones and gums to be treated by physicians in our center; there are two X-ray units available which are Turkey Atomic Energy Agency (TAEK) Licensed periapical and panoramic units. Five Dental Prosthesis Technicians are employed in the Dental Prosthesis Laboratory, three of which are contractor company personnel.
Our center is working above standards in the sterilization process. After physical cleaning, decontamination with chemicals, rinsing and packing process of each dental treatment tool used or to be used, sterilization is provided by steam pressure autoclave and a barcode is provided for each tool in the form of an ID card. With this barcode, it is possible to determine which instrument is used for which patient, , who sterilized it and which physician used it, and sterility proved with which biological indicator in which sterilization cycle even if five years / ten years later.
There are 21 dental units in our center. These units are used with the latest technology. Each unit has a mounted All In One touchscreen monitor, which allows the physician and patient to follow the procedure more easily. In addition, our pediatric patients are treated in a fun way by watching cartoons.
Our center has become the first official health institution of our province which has the International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate by the Ministry of Health.. The health services provided by our center are at international standards and it is ready to provide the highest quality health service to all domestic and foreign guests with its staff.
